Parshallburg Campers got it starts in May of 1968.
Junior & Shirley Carlton with the help of their children ran the Michigan RV dealership from their home out of a pole barn located on the property in Saginaw County.
The name Parshallburg Campers came from the near by Parshallburg bridge, it was an easy way to give directions to the dealership.
In 1985 Parshallburg Campers out grew its home run location and needed to expand. 7 acres was purchased on M-52 in Chesaning to house the RV dealership and the current location of Parshallburg Campers was built at 15775 S.Oakely RD on M-52.
In 2016 the RV sales side of the company was re-branded to Carlton Camping Center to pay heritage to our families last name.
